Firearms Instructor Workshop (FIC)

Class begins at 8:00 am on July 7th, 2025 at the James H. Small Firearms Training Center located at 42034 State Highway 10 Delhi NY 13753. Officers need to be certified Firearms instructors to attend. This is a DCJS certified course is designed to prepare instructors to deliver this new material.
Students need to bring:
- Range Gear
- 1000 rounds of ammunition
- 100 rounds of Simunion and Protective Gear
- Shotimer (if available)
Registration fee is $150.00 per person. We do require a non-refundable $50.00 deposit to hold your place in the class. YOU MUST SUBMIT A REGISTRATION FORM:

Qualification Standards
This course consists of 5-days on the range. Attendees will be expected to participate in all drills, including those involving movement and positional work. Successful completion will require attendees to pass a timed proficiency qualification.
