SUMMARY:Basic Patrol Rifle Operator Course
DESCRIPTION:April 20 – April 21\n$250.00 \n\n\n\n\n\nPlease be advised that the Basic Patrol Operators Course scheduled for April 20-21 is now at full capacity.\nDue to overwhelming interest\, we have added a new session for May 18-19. Registration details and further information will follow shortly. Thank you for your continued interest and support of our training programs.\n\n\n\nMay 18th – 9 am to 5pm & May 19th – 9 am to 4 pm  \nThe Delhi Police Training Division will offer the 14 hour DCJS certified patrol rifle operator course. This course is open to peace officers and security officers. \nThe class will be limited to 12 students. All students must have attended the BCPO or peace officer basic and have the initial firearms certification. Security officers must have a current armed guard license. \nCOST: $250.00 per student. $100.00 deposit required to register. \nAll students must bring range safety gear including body armor. \n\n300 rds minimum of patrol rifle ammo\n100 rds for duty hand gun.\n\nRifles are available for any officer not bringing their dept. issue carbine. SUMMARY:New York State 18 Hour Pistol Permit Class
DESCRIPTION:Sunday May 31st 2026 8:00am to 5:00pm and Monday June 1st 2026 8:00 to 5:00pm \nThe registration fee for this class is $250.00. The course is limited to 12 students\, and will be filled in the order the registration and payment is received. The non-refundable $100.00 deposit is payable in cash\, check or credit card at the following link: https://www.govpaynow.com/gps/user/plc/4640\, and is due at the time your registration form is submitted. The balance of the cost ($150.00) is due the first day of class and is payable in cash or check. Registration should be received by April\n21st 2026. \nThe registration form can be downloaded here: https://dpd-training.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/CIVILIAN-FIREARMS-REGISTRATION.pdf \nType or Clearly Print\, all fields are mandatory\, including middle name as it will appear on your pistol permit application. \nPlease return registration form to: hood.elinor@villageofdelhi.com IF WE DON’T HAVE YOUR REGISTRATION FORM & DEPOSIT\, YOU WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE LIST. \nThis is the required class that is needed for all those seeking to obtain a full carry pistol permit. \nStudents will need to complete all 18 hours of classroom\, pass a written exam and also pass the live fire proficiency practical exam. This class is fully approved by the licensing authorities of Delaware County and will be instructed by New York State Firearms Instructors. \nStudents need to bring a note pad and pen\, trouser belt\, and snacks. Water\, coffee and soda will be provided. Eye and ear protection\, if you have them. Eye and ear protection will be provided for those not having their own.
