DESCRIPTION:Basic Firearms Training for Civilians\nMonday\, June 2nd\, 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.\nReg. fee $50.00 \nThis class is open to anyone with a NYS pistol license. It will cover firearms safety\, operation and nomenclature of semi auto pistols and revolvers\, legal issues and live fire proficiency. \n\nPersons with a permit can bring their own gun and ammunition\, plus range safety gear.\nPersons without their own gun can attend\, but will pay extra for ammunition they use with training division guns.\n\nThis class will also provide you with the certificate needed to apply for a NYS Premise Pistol License.\nThis is a beginner level class and students will be encouraged to join the shooting clubs\, so they can further their education\, proficiency and experience.

The course is limited to 14 students\, and will be filled in\nthe order the registration and payment is received. SUMMARY:Basic Active Shooter Practical Training
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce a Basic Active Shooter Practical Training session designed for peace officers\, security personnel\, and civilians. \nJune 30th\, 2025 at 10:00 am. The registration fee is $60.00 per student. payable in cash\,check or credit card at the following link: https://www.govpaynow.com/gps/user/plc/4640\, and is due at the time your registration form is submitted. The location for the training is the Capt. James Small Training Facility\, located on Route 10 in Delhi. \nThe class will incorporate RBT SIMUNITION practical scenarios conducted in various settings\, utilizing role players. The scenarios will be fundamental in design and will utilize two different venues. \nPlease be assured that all RBT safety protocols will be strictly enforced. All participants will undergo a thorough triple safety check before engaging in any activities. For safety reasons\, real firearms\, CEDs\, OC spray\, and live ammunition are prohibited on the training site. Certified Instructors and Range Safety Officers will closely supervise all drills to ensure the safety of every participant. Additionally\, armed security will be present at the event. \nAn optional live fire drill will be conducted at the conclusion of the RBT scenarios. This drill will simulate a real incident that occurred in Indiana. Participants are encouraged to bring their own helmet and facemask if they have them. Gloves are mandatory\, so please bring a light pair as no bare skin can be exposed during the practical exercises. Simunition ammunition will be provided. \nFor officers participating in the optional live fire exercise\, please bring 10 rounds of duty ammunition. Helmets and face shields will also be available for those who do not have their own. \nLunch will be available on-site for a $10.00 donation\, courtesy of the Delaware County High Caliber Women Shooting club. \nWe encourage you to register for this valuable training opportunity. \nThe registration form for this class can be found here.
